Kia ora, my name is Jesse Taylor i am 19 years old and i was born in the lower South island of New Zealand in a town called Dunedin. I have spent my whole life growing up here in Dunedin, spent majority of my childhood education at Arthur Street school until i was old enough for high school. I attended Bayfield High School for my entire secondary school experience, I was a model student until i got to the age of roughly 16, then i thought i had the whole world at my fingertips and made the decision that i didn’t need school anymore and i was better of without it. What a mistake that was, i’m sure my parents could agree with that one in a heartbeat.

After leaving High school, i then enrolled myself in a foundation studies course at the Otago polytechnic. At the start it was very exciting seeing all the new faces, the new classroom and equipment, but all too soon it was no longer new and exciting, but regular and predictable. After coming to this conclusion, i noticed that i gradually started to lose all interest in the studies and before i knew it, i had stopped going and dropped out of the studies.

I currently have a great group of friends surrounding me, as a family, me and my friends have already come to the conclusion that we will be involved in each others lives till the end of our days. As a group we have mixture of very different people but the glue that holds us all together is the fact that, we are all good genuine people who are willing to go out of our way to help other people. We all believe in karma, and one day it will all return.

I have a very interesting path to go down when it comes to talking about my family, but im sure everybody can relate to that. I dont have a large family, have never met my bio logical father, but since the day i was born i met my hero. A man that was only seeing my mum at the time, but after holding me in his arms on the day of my birth, he could never let me go. This mans name is Tim Uriaro and he is my father. This man at the age of 19 gave up his life to raise 3 children (my brother, sister and i) with none of them being his bio logical children. His brithday is also the same day as mine 11/05 and he is exactly 19 years lder than me, and for the last 19 years, this man has been my hero.
